Count to the Eschaton is a six-novel series written by John C. Wright. It has elements of both space opera and hard science fiction, touching on themes of transhumanism, eternity, immortality, fidelity and honor. It chronicles the life of Menaleus Montrose, a gunslinger-lawyer-turned-spaceman in a future where the future never happened.
Originally planned as a four-novel series, Wright plans to write two more novels for a total of six novels. His publisher has not yet agreed to publish the two final novels.
